WE have the gun and pistol cabinet and the two matching book cases in our library room now and they are stunning. When the delivery came the driver of the truck said he had never seen such well made shipping cases, and I have to agree. After we took the cabinets out of the cases my sister-in-law asked for the cases, so she has those now. Her husband is a wood carver so he really looked over your work and proclaimed that you are indeed an artist, even signing your work. I took off early and raced to meet the delivery guy as I was so excited it was here...I felt like a kid at Christmas with all the anticipation! I am extremely pleased with your efforts and craftsmanship. The crating job you did was pretty awesome itself. I met the delivery guy near my house as he was afraid he wouldn't be able to turn around at my dead end road. As we were loading the bottom part of the cabinet, I dropped my end from about 3 ft... As it so happens, that was the crate which had the glass in it. The crate did its job, NO damage whatsoever. Tommy, what a great job....all the guns fit in nicely, each lean snuggly toward the rear barrel rest and I love the lighting with the soft glow. The inverted "v" and the burgundy felt were exactly what we needed. It is level on the floor and when you open the doors, they stay where you release them. I knew I picked the right guy to build the cabinet and it was well worth the wait!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart it is absolutely beautiful! I am going to send some photos tomorrow when it is daylight. I am already lining you up some more customers as my brothers are coming to see the cabinet in the next few days. Neill/MD Dear Tom, The cabinet arrived. I unpacked it. Assembled the handles and installed the glass. Put it in place and filled it with guns. Turned the light on and stood back to admire it. I must confess, I have never received anything that was so professionally packed. The thought and effort that went into creating such a crate is as thorough and effective as anything I’ve ever seen. It took awhile to get it open and get everything out, but the truck driver and I both commented several times on what an amazing job you did to assure smooth transit.Needless to say, everything inside was in perfect condition.The craftsmanship that went into this cabinet surpasses all the gun cabinets I’ve examined and I’ve seen quite a few. Your workmanship is superb. Everything fits perfectly and though I looked over everything, everything carefully, there isn’t a single flaw anywhere! David /Idaho I got the cabinet put together as much as IM going to do so right now. I only wanted to physically inspect it to make sure it hadn't been damaged in shipment. Since we're about to move IM going to wait to put the hardware on so I can put it back in the crates easier. I can say that it is absolutely beautiful. Having been a machinist for 15 years I have grown to greatly appreciate precision in work. and I must say that your work is as precise and beautiful as any i've ever seen. There are no "loose ends" anywhere on it; everything is perfect. What really caught my attention is how the bottom trim on the top part of the cabinet fits perfectly inside the top trim on the Little things like lines not coming together or something being just a fuzz out of square are my pet peeves. I have found nothing but perfection in your work. This appears to be one of the best built cabinets or pieces of furniture I have ever seen. When I upgrade to a bigger cabinet (which, with my weakness for guns, wont be long), you will be the man I come to.p.s. Those were the most well built crates I have ever seen.
